Bath time and bruises

 
Ryan loves baths again. For a while he would cry and scream every time he had to take a bath. Now he wants them twice a day again. Notice the bruise on his head and his slightly browned teeth. He's always got some kind of bruise or scrape. Last week he ate it outside our apartment in the same place two different times. He scraped his hand and bruised his head. Of course a kiss from uncle Rick made it all better.

Sugar cookies

 
Stacy and I made sugar cookies and the boys helped decorate a few of them. We had to be creative because I only brought one pumpkin cookie cutter. We came up with some funny things and the boys had fun. We delivered some to Julie and Eli. The whole time we were there Ryan and Matt were having fun wrestling on the floor. It's funny cause they will fight like brothers but then the next second they will be laughing and playing. They love being with each other every chance they get.

Carving the pumpkin

 
Ryan didn't want anything to do with getting all the seeds and insides out of the pumpkin. We let him draw a picture on it and push on Nate's arm so he could help with the carving. I kept all the seeds and roasted them!

 

Pumkin Patch Fun

 
A couple of Saturdays ago we went to one of the pumpkin patches here. It was a beautiful day and nice to be outside enjoying it.

I've never been to a pumkin patch to pick out a pumpkin. It was fun to see all the pumpkins. There are places like this all over here. This is the one we picked out.

They had random things to do like a sandbox. He didn't want to get out. They also had goats to pet, racing pigs, a few little mazes, a funny little fun house, and haunted house.

 

Tractor ride with Kyle and Stacy

&n Ryan got to go on two tractor rides. One with Nate and I and one with Kyle and Stacy. This ia all he wanted to do at the patch at first.

More Blue Monster

Blue Monster

Before we left for NY Ryan spent the night at Grandpa and Grammy's with Tucker and Mathias. Stacy and Kyle made a movie with all three of them. Kyle was a blue monster and the boys had to slay him. When he got home he told us about the movie. This is him telling us who was in the movie. He says it over and over because we laugh at him. Now here in NY every time he hears any noise in our apartment he asks if it is the "blue monster".

NIAGARA FALLS

 
Saturday we went to Niagara Falls. We took a boat and were able to get right up to them. They were beautiful. What a wonderful world we live in.

This park was fun, beautiful, and big. Part of it was on Lake Ontario.

Ryan has slept in a regular bed since we've been here in N.Y. He does great. I thought he would constantly get up since he hates going to bed. He's only fallen out of bed twice so far. The first time he walked into our room and said, " mamma I fell off my bed". At first he was waking up really early and coming out to see us in the morning. Now most of the time he yells for me to tell me he's awake.

The first week we were here we went to Palmyra. We got to see the Hill Cumhora, Sacred Grove, and the Temple.
