Daddy's Game

Every year Nate plays on a softball league. Ryan loves to go to his games. Recently he has been getting into playing himself. He is constantly wanting to play. He slides every chance he gets and every time he hits it's a "home run" . He has been practicing on his step and throw and hitting and hits good off a tee.

Picking up dad

The last couple of months Nate traveled to Illinois for work. For six weeks he left at 4 am on Monday and would come back Thursday night. He worked hard and we missed him while he was gone. We stayed busy and the time went fast. It was nice because on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we had him all to ourselves. One week he didn't' have a way home so Ryan and I drove to pick him up. We went to the St. Louis City Museum. It was a fun place with slides, caves, tunnels, and lots more. Ryan had a lot of fun and I think he will have even more fun when he is older. Me too. What a great place for kids and kids at heart.

Springfield Cardinals

We went to the Springfield Cardinals in April. It was Ryan's 4th time to Hammons Field for a game. The first year he went in 08 he was only a few weeks old.

LIne them up

Ryan loves his cars. I love it when he lines them up. Of couse his favorites are the "CARS" gang and his trucks and tractors. For the most part he plays very good and entertains himself if he has to.

Playing in the dirt

Ryan, Wes, and Matt are having more and more fun with each other as they are getting older. Of course they couldn't pass up the chance to play in the dirt. I'm running out of clean shoes for him to wear these days. We are outside all the time and of course his shoes show it. That's what the bath tub is for!

Easter Hunt

This year we went to Grandad and Grandma Hart's for the easter egg hunt. It was a beautiful day! Ryan found lots of eggs and was happy to find candy inside. He had fun playing with everyone all afternoon outside.

Relaxing at the pool

We also had fun at the pool.

Fun at the beach.

It was so nice to be in the sun at the beach again. I love the beach and miss it. I'm glad Ryan loves it too. Laura got him this tractor for his birthday just in time to go to the beach with it.

This is how he shows us he is two. Yes that is his birthday cake. He won't really eat cake but loves cookies so we stacked a couple and that was his cake.

Dancing Dog

Mary runs the gift shop in the Crowne Plaza. Every time we would go in to see her, Ryan would dance along with this dog. It sings and dances to the song "Ring of Fire". Since Ryan has practically worn it out, Mary gave it to him for his birthday. Every night in Hilton Head he would turn it on and dance around it.

Playing at the park

Posted by Picasa
Ryan loves going to the parks to play. We have found a few new ones this time since we have been here. Yesterday we went to a park and were there for almost two hours. He played with another little boy for an hour. They threw sand, dug in the dirt, chased each other, and played with Ryan's truck. Ryan had a lot of fun.

Down for a nap

This is a rare occasion. Ryan doesn't like taking naps and even worse he hates going to bed at night. He fights it almost everyday. This particular day I layed down for a little bit as he was playing. When I got up I found him like this, fast asleep in the sun. He looked so sweet and peaceful. It didn't last long and he was up again ready to go.

Rockin

Rocking Horse

One of the Engineers here at the Crowne made this horse for Ryan. He loves it. He uses it for play and as his step stool to get on the bed and other things. He bit off one of his eyes already, I just have to glue it back on. It has been fun to be back here in Hilton Head and get out of the cold in MO. We have a longer big room and a seperate room for Ryan to sleep and play in. It is really nice. This is our second home away from home.

Dancing

Since Ryan got his CARS movie for his 1st birthday he has loved to dance to the song on the menu. When he's in his car seat he waves his arm up and down. He loves this movie!

Early Training

Ryan always wants to get on the treadmill and walk and run. He's pretty good at it.

Bike ride

Loving babies

Both the boys loved the little babies and were giving them kisses.

TRACTORS

For some reason Ryan loves tractors. Every time he says the prayer tractor is the first thing he wants to say. He wants to see tractors ever time we go for a drive and luckily at home in MO there are tractors on highway construction everywhere and here in Hilton Head there is too.

Riding with DAD!!

Ryan loves riding on the dirt bike and four wheelers with Nate. We finally had a nice day one Saturday so we were able to go outside and play. I ran while Ryan and Nate drove around. Then Ryan and I played basketball, drew with sidewalk chalk, and jumped on the trampoline at grandma's while Nate was painting a trailer.
