Playing in the Tape

Posted by PicasaOur room is attached to the suite that Nate is working on. At night Ryan sleeps in there and we relax in the living area to give us more space. We found him playing in the drywall tape. Having lots of fun!

Watching the Water

Ryan loves to go outside and crawl around the resort. His favorite it watching the water fountains on the bridge.

Posted by PicasaRyan is improving on his walking and is enjoying it more. He likes walking with his toy and is doing better at walking while holding onto someones hands. He still has problems with running into wall, but maybe he's doing it on purpose!
Posted by PicasaWe put Ryan in the grass and tried to get him to crawl to us. He wouldn't budge. He even put his left foot on top of the other so he could get it up off the grass. When he is crawling on the sidewalk around the resort he won't get off and go in the grass. The most he has done is to touch it. I'm sure it won't be long before he is running everywhere in the grass.

Ryan's First Race with Mom

This was Saturday March 14th. I ran in a St. Patricks 5K race, pushing Ryan in the stroller. Rick, Laura, Linzi, Justin, Jen, and Mary all ran too. It was a lot of fun. Ryan was excited and was kicking his feet and laughing his funny little laugh. He did really good. Everyone kept saying "Oh no a baby is beating me". It made me excited to run more.

Loving His Dog!

He loves his dog. This was the only stuffed animal we took for him to Puerto Rico. So for two and a half months this is what he cuddled with. Every time he gets it he gets very excited and makes his funny little noises. When he is trying to fall asleep he will hold it over his face.

Ryan got this hippo from Mary, one of our friends in SC. He used to always hold it while he slept. When he was trying to go to sleep it was usually over his eyes.

Playing Peek a Boo and looking at books!

Ryan is learning something new everyday. His latest new tricks are waving, giving fives, giving a furrowed brow mean look, playing peek a boo, identifying things in his books, and doing the roll it roll it part in patty cake. It's so fun to see him grow and do new things. He is getting faster and faster at crawling and getting better at walking with some help of his push toy or us. I'm sure it won't be long till he is walking on his own. Then the chase begins!
He was done pointing out things by the time I got the camera out. He loves his books. He has a few Berenstain Bear Books and a Clifford Book. He loves looking at them by his self and with us. He sits and turns the pages and gets all excited looking at the pictures.

Back in Hilton Head!

Nathan, Ryan, and I have been in Hilton Head Island, SC for the past two months. We are enjoying our time here and are grateful to have the work. Ryan gets to see Nate a lot more here because we live and work in the same place. So that has been fun and nice for all of us. For the past month or so Ryan has had his own room to sleep in at night. It is so Nice to sleep through the night! It has been colder than usual here but should be warming up today and the rest of our time here. It's always fun to come to HH.

Ryan is getting so big. I can't believe he will be a year old in two weeks. He is such a happy, loving little boy. I love all of his cute facial expressions.
